Oh friends, a year in the making and we can finally share the exciting news! Our dear friends Laura of LC Floral Design and Lindsay from Lindsay Lauren Events, approached us with an idea. Both from the Bay Area, they wanted to do an elaborate shoot in the Carmel area for a feature in Ceremony Magazine. Our brains started churning a million miles an hour, and after Google Hangouts, group texts, and dozens of emails later, we’ve been PUBLISHED! The jaw dropping Bernardus Lodge and Spa hosted our event. A gorgeous four page spread feature in Ceremony Magazine just hit newsstands! FOUR PAGES!!! We are so honored and excited to share the news!

“While dreaming up of how I wanted the florals to look, I know I knew I wanted lush greenery, white florals and a soft pop of color. I ended up going with peach as a subtle pop because I think it compliments the white and green tones amazingly! The shoot was the perfect mix of classic and elegance in  wine country in the Carmel Valley. Its always a pleasure to work with Laura, Rachel and Lindsay! “Bernardus is such a dreamy place! From the vineyards to perfectly landscaped rose gardens and trees, I was thrilled to have this venue as our backdrop. When designing the main table, I wanted to create something beautiful and timeless, that was complimentary to such a special setting. We kept the color palette classic, with peach and gold accents. The head table linen allowed us to pull in grays and golds, and really let the white chairs and flowers pop. Incorporating smilax and the crisp greenery throughout the flowers really added a lovely and romantic look.
