My photography journey began in 2017 as a creative outlet and quickly grew into a passion for preserving life’s most beautiful, fleeting moments. Today, I specialize in capturing real, unscripted connections—the giggles, the quiet hugs, and the in-between magic that makes your family unique.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m spending time with my husband Jason (my best friend of 14 years), our two adorable maltipoos, Lola and Leo, and sipping iced caramel lattes in cozy coffee shops. I’m known for my bubbly spirit, warm heart, and love for all things Italian and Mexican—especially when there’s a Diet Coke involved.

We love to walk the historic streets of downtown Charleston with our families, literally every street holds something new and amazing to capture. From the building textures, Cobblestone streets, over-flowing flower boxes, darling doorways, and momentous gates, what could one not love!
DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON

Hampton Park is one of Charleston's largest parks and boasts the most extensive floral displays we have ever seen. Sunrise or sunset, this park allows for portraits all year round! From Spring blooms to Fall foliage, we get excited each and every time someone chooses this location! This 60 acres historic park is known for it's Spanish moss trees, adorable gazebo, miles of lovely trails, and a man-made lake surrounding a beautiful water fountain.
HAMPTON PARK

Kiawah is a sea island about 25 miles southwest of Charleston. It is primarily a private beach known for its PGA Golf Course and mansion waterfront estates. In addition to its 10 miles of beaches, Kiawah Island has perfectly preserved maritime forests, sand dunes and marshes, which is PERFECT for portraits!
KIAWAH ISALND

Isle of Palms is a city near Charleston, on the slender barrier island of the same name. A lot of our families spend their summers vacationing here with the beach just steps away from their rental home, always a plus with little ones. It’s known for its beaches backed by condos and eateries. Neighboring Sullivan’s Island is another favorite, but both have the warm light, massive beaches, and that famous east cpast sea grass for a magical backdrop.

Folly Beach, just south of Charleston, is known for it's fine white sand, its wooden pier, and a main street that is lined with surf and souvenir shops for that real hometown feel. Talk about relaxing and a completely different vibe that Charleston! Think about bringing a beach blanket and picnic, even your pups since it is dog friendly. This location is perfect for and families! Folly Beach is absolutely perfect for sunset sessions, known for it's pink cotton candy skies and warm ocean breeze nearly year round.

For the Littles
When choosing outfits for your family session, think "complement" rather than "match." The goal is to create a cohesive look that flows beautifully in photos—without everyone wearing the same exact thing. Pick one outfit you really love—maybe it’s Mom’s flowing dress—and build the rest of the family’s look around that. Pull complementary colors and tones from that piece to style everyone else.

WARDROBE STYLING
The sooner, the better! Our calendar fills up quickly—especially on weekends during the spring and fall when wedding season is in full swing. Reaching out early gives you the best chance at securing your ideal date.
To officially reserve your session, we’ll need a signed contract and a retainer. Life happens (we totally get it!), so if you need to shift your date later on, just let us know—we’re always happy to work with you.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Unless you’ve been a professional model (and even then!), chances are you might feel a little awkward in front of the camera—and that’s completely normal. Honestly? We take photos for a living, and we still feel like deer in headlights when the lens is turned on us!
But here’s the good news: feeling awkward at first is totally expected, and it won’t last long. We’ll gently guide you through natural poses and prompts that help you relax and connect with each other. Before you know it, you’ll be having fun—and maybe even forgetting the camera is there.
And when it comes to kids who don’t sit still? Don’t worry for a second. We’re pros at capturing real, joyful moments—even with the busiest little ones. Some of our favorite images come from the in-between giggles, twirls, and silly faces. We’ve got this.

We totally get it—rescheduling isn’t ideal (especially with everyone’s busy schedules!), but sometimes it’s the best option. If blue skies are a must for your session, we’ll work together to pick a new date. We typically make the final call the morning of, or a few hours before your session, depending on the forecast.
If there’s lightning, high winds, hail, or anything that could be unsafe—we’ll absolutely reschedule, no question.
That said, a little cloud cover or light drizzle doesn’t always mean we have to cancel. Overcast skies can actually make for some beautifully soft, dreamy light. And if you're up for it, we can bring along a clear umbrella and make some magic in the rain!
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a few weeks of your session, you’ll receive a link to your personal online gallery. From there, you can easily download all your high-resolution images—perfect for printing, sharing, or saving forever.
Even better? Your gallery makes ordering prints, canvases, and keepsakes super simple—like Roomba-level easy. No stress, no hassle—just beautiful memories ready to display and enjoy.
