Details! Details! Details! Our hearts were swooning over all the details Kate had created from us the moment we walked through the door. She was just as excited as we were, if not more, to literally take us by the hand and guide us to the awaiting full invitation suite (which she had the calligrapher create special for us AND add classic dated stamps), a vintage ring box, and silver serving trays. Fionna Floral also left us a ton extra flower sprays, a few custom boutineers, and even a bowl of blueberries to match the wedding theme. Like we said, perfection!

Getting ready and the wedding reception was at the gorgeous Carmel Mission Ranch, but this was our first time capturing a wedding ceremony at the Santa Catalina School Chapel. This school held a special place Kate’s heart and was rich in family history since she and all her sisters attending here. It’s a school gate we had past a thousand times as growing up in Monterey, but never once had we had the opportunity to see what lie behind them. The beautiful tree lined road took us to the top of the hillside, opening to a 36 acre hacienda-style 1950’s chapel situated at the heart of campus. The Rosary Chapel featured wood carving, stained glass windows, elaborate chandeliers, Honduran mahogany altar and pews, redwood ceilings, and Carmel stone exteriors. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

With the help of Blush Monterey, Kate and her amazing group of ladies were drop-dead gorgeous! Can we talk about the look from Andy the first time he saw his bride walking down the aisle!?!? OMWord, cue the tears! After they exchanged I Do’s, we walked the area surrounding the chapel filled with low hanging wisteria that you could smell throughout the acres, capturing the new husband and wife in such a dream location. We then headed to a nearby beach with the entire wedding party for even more portraits!

Mission Ranch is always such a dream venue. Cocktail hour had the cutest furniture set up outside the small barn as well as the reception area decorated with custom ribbon settings at each placement as well as hand crafted custom plate settings. This was defiantly a setting for royalty!

Congratulations Andy and Kate! Your entire wedding day was an absolute dream and we were honored to by your side to capture it. Who knew a love connection would be made through Tinder, so of course we have to close with the famous four words… cheers to swiping right!
