Cannon Green Wedding Downtown Charleston | A modern tropical vibe isn’t what you normally comes to mind living in DC where Carly and Paul were living when they started wedding planning, and the theme they wanted for not only their wedding, but life. Carly had been visiting Charleston for over two decades and knew deep down in her heart she wanted one day to call it home.
After realizing the hustle of DC wasn’t the relaxing coastal culture they wanted for their forever, not only was a Charleston wedding a certainty, but so was moving! Paul and Carly started building their dream house (within walking distance from Rachel we might add), on one of the cutest and up-and-coming islands Charleston has to offer. With a closing date just before they tied the knot, their new home made for the most PERFECT getting ready location for this Charleston wedding!
This Cannon Green wedding was GORGEOUS and just shouted the tropical vibe! What a party this was from beginning to end and we were absolutely honored to capture and celebrate alongside these two. Congratulations Paul & Carly!

Together, we have worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, and make up one incredibly unique mother-daughter fine art wedding photography team. We have documented weddings from the breathtaking West Coast, to the historic East, and have had our work published internationally both in print and online. Our wanderlust hearts have taken us all over the country, capturing love stories, and visiting quaint hometown coffee shops along the way, and even though we've spent most of our lives in a nautical California town, we now call South Carolina home, expanding to the low country of Charleston.
