Charleston Maternity Session | These two may look very familiar. A few months we shared their gorgeous Kiawah proposal story, adorable pregnant belly and all, and this Charleston maternity session is what she was expecting. Let me back up and remind you of the story.

Clay and Jessie traveled all the way from Chicago and had planned a week on Kiawah Island for their babymoon. While in the area, we had planned a beautiful maternity session downtown Charleston, but Clay had a different idea and wanted to propose! We first started talking about proposing during the maternity session, but once Clay was here and had the ring burning in his pocket, he didn’t want to wait another second! The next evening we captured their amazing beach proposal and the rest is history.

A few days later we met for their planned sunrise session at Hampton Park. Jessie was just glowing! Don’t get us wrong, her gorgeous right out of the spa and sunburn belly look for her proposal was adorable, but she arrived with her hair and makeup done by Audrey from Contours & Curls, and she looked like a model! Oh my goodness!

We had so much fun with these two, even though it was before 8:00am in the morning. The breathtaking light, the dreamy mossy trees, and excitement from these two parents-to-be, made for such a beautiful session! A few weeks later we received the text we had all been waiting for… he’s here! We’re SO EXCITED for you both and cannot wait to meet your little man soon!
