A floral box, the simplest of things can completely change a wedding day, or any day for that matter! A few weeks ago were shooting a wedding at Ragged Point, down the coast of Big Sur, and had the opportunity to work with the amazing Flowers by Kim for the very first time. When we arrived she was setting up the ceremony area, so we went up and introduced ourselves, when she told us she had a little something for us. Prior to the wedding day, we make it a routine to always reach out to the florist. This is especially true if we haven’t worked with them before, and ask them when they deliver the bouquets, to always leave us a few extra sprays of greenery and florals for us to use with details. Well, boy oh boy, did Kim do that! She had created us an entire floral box, filled to the brim with samples of every flower used throughout the day, all sorts of ribbons that were the weddings colors, scissors, and boxes for styling and layering. What a dream!
We couldn’t help buy share this amazing idea! Just think, if every florist created their photographer something like this, what an amazing team they would be become! So for all you florists, do this and your photographers will LOVE you! Brides planning a wedding, this is something easy to ask your florist to provide. You may just be giving them an idea that will take their business to the next level! Happy Friday!
Thank you Floral by Kim for this AMAZING idea!!!
Tune in each Friday for floral tips and tricks we come across along our journey!
