Notice a theme in our t-shirts, low hanging magical moss, and huge smiles across our faces? Besides keeping the secret we announced last week that Rachels pregnant, we’ve also been holding in something else. As of the end of the year, we will be calling Charleston home! We’re MOVING!!! That’s right, we’re trading the west coast for the east, nautical sunsets for sunrises, and vineyard weddings for plantations. The newest member of the family will grow up southern knowing ya’ll for you all, grits over oatmeal, text messages just don’t carry the same gratitude as a handwritten note, and there’s always fresh brewed sweet tea nearby.

We visited our future home state of South Carolina just a few weeks ago, meeting some of their amazing wedding vendors along the way, and with only three days on the ground, captured an anniversary, engagement, proposal, bridal session, and a styled wedding. Let’s just say we have an enormous amount of GORGEOUS southern-goodness to share in the next few weeks!

Many of you will be asking are we still accepting weddings here on the west coast, ABSOLUTELY! Especially during those summer months when us Californians have no idea how to work in the South Carolina humidity . We’ll also be flying back next year for all our 2019 weddings, during that time still capturing engagement, anniversary, and proposal sessions along the way.

A house you can find anywhere, a home is something you create. We couldn’t imagine a more exciting time in life! A new beginning, all together.
