A gorgeous InterContiental Clement wedding! We had always dreamed of shooting this venue! Overlooking the ocean, this Monterey luxury hotel is located right in the heart of John Steinbeck’s historic Cannery Row. New venues bring out an excitement and a creativeness like no other! As we walked in Laura’s bridal suite, the sounds of laughter and enthusiasm filled the room, and there she was, just glowing. Her dress hung from the window with the twinkling of ocean ripples in the background, hair and makeup going on all around, clinking glass as all her closest girlfriends toasting while share marriage wisdom, and the smell of Prada, Laura’s favorite perfume.

Laura had the most unbelievable bridal suite which had it’s own terrace overlooking the ocean that fit the entire bridal party! Major win! We were able to avoid the touristy streets of Cannery Row and capture their dreamy first look, couples portraits, as well as bridal and family portraits, right outside their door! What a huge time saver! The outside texture of the hotel was absolutely perfect and an added bonus for this nautical wedding.

Alex and Laura shared vows and promises with ocean views as far as the eyes could see, and sailboats drifted by as if they were on cue as they kissed. Grinning from ear to ear, we whisked the newlyweds away briefly for portraits along the hotels private pier, so they could join cocktail hour and spend time with the family and friends who traveled from so far to celebrate this day with them. As night slowly fell upon the ocean, the ballroom illuminated with celebration! Let’s just say, this is a wedding we’ll never forget! Congratulations Alex and Laura!
