Intimate Charleston Plantation Wedding

Portraits, Wedding

Charleston Plantation Photography Laura & Rachel Photography

A Charleston plantation wedding is what southern girls hearts are made of. There is something completely magical about the light, mossy trees, waterfront docks, lush woods, all intertwined with the incredible history.

Tucked away deep in the woods of Charleston, a Low Country wedding is what we’ve dreamed about capturing for years! Getting ready in a quaint downtown hotel in the Charleston French Quarter, having hair and makeup done by the amazing Beauty Asylum team, surrounded by florals created by the talented Roadside Blooms, all while wearing a dream dress by the one and only Emily Kotarski. What an absolute dream wedding day!

Once again, mixing digital and our new found love of film images, these two had the most romantic session! We walked the grounds of this beautiful Charleston plantation wedding venue, stopping at the occasional lake side pier, and dancing along the paths of the sweet grass fields. We are just giddy with excitement to now also be officially Charleston wedding photographers!

MEET LAURA & RACHEL

We are photographers, proposal planners, curators, and most of all, storytellers for your big life moments. We have worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, making one incredibly unique mother-daughter team and have documented weddings and proposals in destinations all around the world. Even though we've spent most of our lives in the nautical California town of Monterey, we now call South Carolina home, expanding to the low country of Charleston.
