A Channel Island Harbor rehearsal dinner. A year and half ago, I watched my now son-in-law Paul, ask my husbands permission for our daughters hand in marriage, and captured their Big Sur Proposal. From that day, leading up to now, I’ve watched them plan their dream wedding. After four trips to their southern California venue, tastings, learning a floral vocabulary, and SO much more, planning a destination wedding was a part-time job on its own! If we had it to re-do, there’s not a single thing I would change. It brought us closer together, tested our boundaries, and made our respect off the charts for the wedding planning and coordination industry!
An evening on the shore, just a few steps from our rented beach house, of course the rehearsal dinner catered by Chick-fil-A as a request from the groom, we spent a few hours with the ones we love most. Parents, grandparents, and bridal party. Mandi from A Sparking Event walking us though every step of the way, we couldn’t thank her enough! As the sun set, we watched the sailboats dock in the harbor. I stood in the distance and watched Rachel and Paul embrace, thinking this is the last day my little girl isn’t a married woman, and I couldn’t have been more proud.
I couldn’t have hand picked a more perfect man for our daughter, Paul is truly a gift from God. Strong in his faith, devoted to his now wife, so loving and respectful, is now my son. The wedding day was an absolute dream come true, and if you scroll to the bottom, you can see a sneak peek. Much more to come!
Cannot wait to see Natalie’s vlog about this weekend! Our first sneak peek of the wedding day! A box of tissue later, I am in LOVE! Thank you Amy & Jordan from the bottom of our hearts! We are SO blessed to have your in our lives!
Natalie also surprised us a with vlog of behind the scene coverage of not only the rehearsal, but the entire wedding day as well! Don’t miss this!
