Charleston Waterfront Proposal | Tanner was adoriable! He emailed us saying him and his girlfriend, Emily, were planning a trip to Charleston to celebrate their three year anniversary. He told us while it’s been three years, he knew within a few weeks, she was his person. Queue all the tears!
Staying at The Vendue in the french quarter of Charleston, Tanner wanted to keep the proposal within walking distance, we knew a Waterfront Park proposal would be perfect! With rose petals marking the proposal spot, we sat on a nearby park bench waiting for their arrival.
Hand in hand as they passed, not paying us any attention, Emily glanced down at the rose petals but never slowed her pace. Next thing she knew, Tanner was in the middle of the petals, down on one knee, and her reaction was the cutest thing we had ever seen!
Tanner wanted to add a speical ending to his proposal. We had planned to have a picnic set up nearby as another surprise, but if you’re familiar with Charleston during summer, you always have to have a rain backup plan. Luckly the skies clearned just before the proposal, but the ground wasn’t dry enough for a picnic, so that’s when plan B went into effect. A decorated hotel room!
