Folly Beach Engagement | We have been incredibly blessed this year, even with COVID, and the fear it has put in many couples while planning their wedding, our couples are pushing forward. Could their wedding have to be postponed? Yes. Should we still do an engagement session to celebrate this time in their lives? Heck yes!
We were so excited Brianna and Matt we’re ready for what we knew was going to be an gorgeous engagement session. Near the pastel buildings of Rainbow Row is where we began. One of the things we love most about capturing Charleston, is the first half of their session was literally captured within a block radius, yet you have so many different looks, colors, and textures to choose from. It’s a photographers dream! When our clients say, “We trust you, we’ll do what ever you want,” we automatically know how amazing the session will be!
After strolling the nearly deserted Charleston streets and allies, we headed to the beach. The tide was low, exposing the rock jetties and making the sea grass seem to go on for days. They strolled hand in hands along the waters edge, making the entire session look effortless. We just adore these two and cannot wait to capture their 2021 wedding at Canon Green!

MEET LAURA & RACHEL
Together, we have worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, and make up one incredibly unique mother-daughter fine art wedding photography team. We have documented weddings from the breathtaking West Coast, to the historic East, and have had our work published internationally both in print and online. Our wanderlust hearts have taken us all over the country, capturing love stories, and visiting quaint hometown coffee shops along the way, and even though we've spent most of our lives in a nautical California town, we now call South Carolina home, expanding to the low country of Charleston. We are photographers, directors, curators, and most of all, storytellers for your wedding.
And WE can't wait to get to know you!
