Downtown Charleston Portrait Session | When visiting Charleston, most everyone wants their portrait session location to capture the true heart of the city along with its history. You want the mossy oak trees Charleston is famous for, historic buildings, pastel colors, palmetto trees, and cobblestone streets. We love nothing more than guiding our clients though the streets of Charleston, a different walk for each couple, capturing the city in a different way each time.
Ian and Kelly we’re visiting Charleston over the Thanksgiving holiday and couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to an anniversary session captured. They loved them so much they’re coming back in April for another! They danced the paths below the oak trees, strolled downtown hand in hand, kissed beneath the steeples, and twirled in the middle of the cobblestone streets. Everything was perfect!
We cannot wait to see you guys again when you come back in spring! Your next Charleston portrait session will be filled with blooms as far as the eye can see, our absolute favorite time of year here in the low country! If you know us, flowers are our love lauguage and we will always find a way to incorporate them into every session!
Fall has arrived in Charleston!
There is nothing more romantic than cobblestone streets!
We found flowers on the brink of winter! GOREGOUS!!!
These two are soooooooo in LOVE!

We are photographers, proposal planners, curators, and most of all, storytellers for your big life moments. We have worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, making one incredibly unique mother-daughter team and have documented weddings and proposals in destinations all around the world. Even though we've spent most of our lives in the nautical California town of Monterey, we now call South Carolina home, expanding to the low country of Charleston.
