Charleston Elopement | COVID hit yet again, but love stands strong and always wins! James and Stefanie has a very large wedding planned, but with current ways of the world not giving up, they decided to be married was more important than the event itself, and chose her childhood summer home here in Folly Beach as the perfect location to escape with close family to share their vows.

We arrived to this gorgeous three story beach front home, know as the Pink Flamingo here in Charleston, where the open rooftop had been transposed into an intimate dining experience for ten. Just their parents and siblings joined them in celebrating their love.

The women in Stephanie’s life helped her dress before we shared a very emotional father-daughter first look. As their families shoot around them, and a laptop placed in a special chair while Facebook live was streaming for all to see, Stephanie was walked down the stairway towards her awaiting groom. The grooms sister officiated this romantic union before we whisked them away for couples portraits along the waterfront.

With sand between their toes, finally married, weren’t saddened that COVID had changed their wedding plans. Instead, they were excited that once things are able to get back to “normal”, they will have a large celebration back home with family and friends. Congratulations James and Stephane!
