Charleston Maternity Session | This is Spring in Charleston and our absolute favorite time of year here! The cherry blooms are popping up everywhere, the Azaleas are in full bloom, the Chamilias are about to show their true beauty, and that’s not even mentioning how amazing it smells.
These two newlyweds decided to escape from their home in chilly Connecticut to visit her parents here in Charleston. Due in early May, it was the absolute perfect time to capture a maternity session! While their drive from Connecticut didn’t go as smoothly as they wished with car trouble, we ended pushing out their session for a few days and changing from a sunset to a sunrise session. We always say it, but there is just something absolutely magical about morning light! Look at these portraits! DREAM!
We strolled the parking talking about life, how COVID has changed the world, the benefits of loving what you do, and then they just casually told us about the 100 person chillax’ wedding they had in 2020 on the cliffs of Portugal. Say what!?!? So of course we planted the seed when they celebrate their 5 year anniversary, a vow renewal back in Portugal, with us capturing their portraits, is a must!
Congratulation you two and we cannot wait to meet your baby girl next time you’re here in Charleston!
When it “magically” rains pink petals during your portrait session!
We love how casual strolls around Charleston end up with locations like this!
