OMGoodness, there aren’t words to describe how perfect this day was! Don’t get us wrong, July in Charleston is H-O-T, but Moranda and Stanley are so cool and collective, we hardly noticed the near 100 degree evening.

A little back story, almost a decade ago, we captured Moranda’s high school senior portraits back in California. Earlier this year, her and her mom flew all the way to Charleston for us to capture her college graduation portraits and absolutely fell in love with Low Country. She hinted, when the time was right, she wanted to get engaged in Charleston and of course wanted us to capture it. Within a month, we received the email from her mom, telling us Stanley was ready to pop the question and let the planning begin!

Tupelo Honey Flower Shop decorated the rooftop of The Dewberry Charleston with florals as we staged the perfect proposal spot, with the backdrop as the best view of the holy city. Once she said yes, we moved inside to cool down where their favorite his and her drinks where waiting, as well as chilled champagne ready to pop.

An outfit change and quick drive to the Charleston historic district, we ended with the gorgeous pink Porsche from Whip Dash that made for an unbelievable portrait session! Congratulations Moranda and Stanley! This was so special for us to capture and let the wedding plans begin! All we were told is we’re capturing the wedding, and we’ll need a passport! We’re ready!
