Charleston Engagement Session | Reschedule after COVID reschedule, their engagement session day was finally happening! Courtney and Justin were originally getting married in March 2021, but with all things COVID, postponed one year and one day later, to March 2022. What a better way to celebrate their originally wedding date by having their engagement session captured in beautiful Charleston!
These two are absolute naturals in front of the camera and they choose the most magical time of year in Charleston when everything is beginning to bloom! We walked the downtown streets of Charleston, hugging every nook, corner, doorway, and alley we could find. The greenery beginning to grow through fences and gates, with the constant smell of jasmine filling the air.
An outfit change and short drive later, we ended at The Custom House. Talk about a dream! Courtney in a gorgeous sequin gown, Justin in a 3 piece suit, we danced below the marble overhangs, walked the historic steps, and ended with an epic champagne pop (or stay is what really happened!). It was an amazing day with these two from beginning to end and we can want to capture another gorgeous wedding at Wrightsville Manor next year! Congratulations you two!!!

Together, we have worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, and make up one incredibly unique mother-daughter fine art wedding photography team. We have documented weddings from the breathtaking West Coast, to the historic East, and have had our work published internationally both in print and online. Our wanderlust hearts have taken us all over the country, capturing love stories, and visiting quaint hometown coffee shops along the way, and even though we've spent most of our lives in a nautical California town, we now call South Carolina home, expanding to the low country of Charleston.
